Nova3D is built on the same hardened control-plane patterns MPD runs in production — with security and auditability in the data model, not bolted on.

Data protection

  • TLS in transit and encryption at rest for documents and geometry.
  • Per-document access control; you decide who can view and edit.
  • Append-only audit trail of every change — who, what, and when.

Architecture

  • Stateless API tier with Postgres as the single source of truth.
  • Idempotent, lease-locked workers — a crash never corrupts your model.
  • Versioned object storage for B-rep and mesh artifacts.

Your data, your control

  • Export to open standards (STEP/IGES/STL) anytime — no lock-in.
  • Self-hosting available for Enterprise: run Nova3D on your own infrastructure.
  • Data deletion on request; clear data-residency options.
